(1) Storage Facilities
Choosing a commercial storage facility is generally based on proximity to your new location for the convenience of taking items to or from your storage unit. The cost of commercial storage varies by:
(a) Size of the storage unit that you choose; 5x5, 5x10, 10x10, 10x15, 10x20, or 10x30.
(b) Location of the facility and the surrounding real estate values: a storage facility close to the city may be more expensive than a facility that is further away from a city center, in a more rural setting.
(c) The ease or difficulty of access to the unit; length of walk, elevator use or stairs to climb.

This method of storage has several advantages:
(a) Using Portable Storage Containers eliminates the “extra” two steps of unloading your household goods into a storage unit at a storage facility AND then having to reload those same items onto a truck.
(b) Use of a Portable Storage Container also gives you the convenience and flexibility to put some of your own household goods into the Storage Container before or after the movers have arrived. This option can significantly reduce the amount you will pay the moving service. With a Portable Storage Container parked just outside your door, the possibilities of “do-it-yourself” increase dramatically.
(c) If your schedule and timing for unloading your household goods is uncertain, you can pay a monthly fee to the company that provides the Portable Storage Container for them to store your container in their warehouse until you’re ready for delivery.

When your need for storing these items is completed, it is a very simple process for us to un-stack and put those items back where they belong. We will reassemble furniture items that have been taken apart.
