Great Service

I moved last week with Easy Movers from Falls Church to Washington DC and this was the smoothest move I have ever had. Part of it was that I was only moving about 2 rooms of stuff but the better part was working with Easy movers. Jim was very great to talk to on the phone and provided me an emailed estimate and explained how he worked. Nothing changed in terms of the stated price and charges. The 3 men moving crew showed up on time and were ready to work. I promptly showed them what i had to move and then they sat down their clip board and picked up boxes to move out to the truck. They were friendly and did a really nice job. They actually all acted like they were having fun and enjoyed their work, this was a bonus! They even assisted with setting up basics like rolling out carpets and setting up beds on the delivery end. Tasks that would take 1 person a long time after all the boxes were moved in. They were thoughtful in how they unloaded my items to make sure that it was in an organized place to make the rest of the unpacking easier. I would totally recommend Easy Movers to friends and colleagues in the area. For anyone moving within the Washington metro area.

Great Experience

The team who helped me move (Marcus, Tony and Dan) were on time and prepared. They were very careful with my belongings and they listened to my requests throughout the move (e.g. where to place items). I had several items that were difficult to fit in the narrow stairwell of the house, but the team was able to maneuver the furniture so I could have my things where I wanted them. The owner, Jim, was very professional and reassuring every time I spoke with him, and his cost estimate was in-line with all the other moving company quotes I obtained. Ultimately, I decided to go with this moving company because of Jim's confidence in his company's services (which is also outlined on their website), coupled with the company's fantastc (A+) rating on the Better Business Bureau website. Overall I was very happy with my choice.

A big thank you to Easy Movers' Team of Damien, Marcus & Sam. They worked terrifically well together. Wrapping, padding and special cushioning for a truck full of antiques and an upright piano! And to Jim Mason for all the good advice on preparations I could make to make the move go smoothly (which it did!) and patience answering all my questions. Easy Movers, a company you can trust to do the most professional job!

Great Job

I had absolute VIP service. They actually called when they said they would, showed up at the right time. That often doesn't happen when businesses say they will! I had a few precious and fragile items to move (the reason I didn't want to try moving myself with the help of friends). The gentlemen workers were attentive to my concerns, listened and responded with more than expected detail. NOTHING was damaged in any way. Both myself and my belongings were treated with care and respect. Even though this company did not offer the lowest price during my check, I got more than my money's worth of service. Kudos for a well run business! I will use them again without reserve, should the occasion come again.

This was my first attempt at moving without the help of my family so needless to say I was a little nervous. Easy Movers was great. They were great in letting me know exactly when they were going to show up and were able to finish the work in a speedy and safe fashion. Each of the workers were pleasant and great to interact with. I highly recommend their service and I will definitely use them again next time i move.

We had Easy Movers pick up our dining room set and move it to our house. The hutch had lots of glass and was very heavy. They wrapped everything very thoroughly and Keith and Damien were ultra careful with it. Not a scratch or a nick on any piece at all. And the price was reasonable and fair. Totally recommended.

Polite, Professional, and Efficient!

Whether to use Easy Movers is a no-brainer. Do it. I just used them, and found the owner and his employees to be polite, professional, and efficient. You can't ask for anything more. There may be other moving companies who can do as good a job, but none can do it any better. They are as good as it gets. I'd use them again at a drop of a hat.

We hired "Easy Movers" (we found them on yellow pages.com) to move heavy and difficult items to our new house. The rate was affordable and fair. The movers did a wonderful job. They were polite, respectful, and professional. I would use them again !!

The Best of the Best

When they came up with the name "Easy Movers" they really got it right!!! I had a bad experience moving my daughter from an apartment into a storage unit and we were not looking forward to the move from the storage unit into the new apartment. I checked other moving companies and when I called Easy Moving, I felt like Jim really cared, what a novelty! The price was right and they were able to get a WONDERFUL crew of guys, Keith, Larry, and Dan to move us on Saturday. When they said 8:30, that's what they meant!!! I was very impressed by Keith, Larry, and Dan, they are true professionals and they take pride in their work. They were also very personable and nice and REDSKIN FANS!!! They worked hard and had a great attitude and offered to help in many ways that would have seemed out of ordinary for most movers. I will DEFINITELY use them again and would suggest that if you are looking for a mover, look no further--- this is the mover for you!!!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Easy Movers. They were prompt, professional, and courteous. They packed, delivered, and assembled my furniture with complete care and confidence. The follow up call from Jim the next day was also an added bonus. I was very pleased with my service and highly recommend using this company.

Two wonderful experiences

Our family has used Easy Movers twice. The first time was in August 2004 when we moved my mother from her house in Falls Church to a condo in Leisure World in Silver Spring. The crew was skilled, careful, professional, reassuring, efficient and fast! Most recently, in July 2008, Easy Movers moved my daughter from a small studio apartment in an elevator building to a 3-story walk-up row house. We had a couple of large, heavy pieces that they handled beautifully. The guys were friendly and personable, very hardworking and efficient. Jim Mason does a great job reminding his customers how to plan a move and anticipate one's needs. Because of this, there were no surprises. His pricing is excellent and his customer service is first rate. Without qualification, I highly recommend Easy Movers.

We recently used Easy movers to move us up within our condo building. Easy Movers was on time, very professional, took very good care in moving our household belongings. I was afraid they wouldn't move all of our boxes but they did so without complaint. We had a very unusual but delicate item that they handled with great care. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who is looking for a good moving company with very reasonable prices. Excellent !!!!

Best moving experience I've ever had

I moved on a rainy Friday about two weeks ago and was a bit nervous since wet conditions are not the best for moving. As soon as the men walked in my house, I knew I was in good hands. Each gentleman shook my hand, looked me in the eyes and introduced himself - talk about professional! We went room to room and discussed what needed to be wrapped and the guys got right to work. They kept up a fast pace for the next several hours. These guys do not slack off at all. On the other end of my move, they had to deal with freshly painted walls (one room still had wet walls) and they didn't hit the walls at all. Moving can be a super stressful experience but not with Easy Movers. I will definitely use them again and have recommended them to friends of mine already. To Jim and team - thank you for a job well done!

I have employed Easy Movers several times over the years, and yesterday's move was no exception to the extraordinary service I have been receiving. Moving is -- under the best of circumstances -- very stressful, but Easy Movers has consistently lived up to their name and made our move very easy. The crew we had yesterday was particularly careful, considerate, and efficient. And the follow up phone call from Jim Mason meant a lot to me. I will be using Easy Movers again later this month for a tricky move, but feel confident that they can do the job, and do it well! Thank you very much!

Movers who know how to be careful

We have moved several times in the last 10 years and every experience has been difficult due to careless movers, damages, and poor communication from the moving company. Our most recent move with Easy Movers changed everything. They were very attentive to our concerns about delicate furniture, took the time to pad-wrap tables, dressers and upholstery and never complained about what turned out to be a very difficult job with lots of stairs and several very heavy items of furniture. Altogether, they were professional, very helpful and made our moving day an enjoyable experience.

“I am sorry I have not written you sooner to express my appreciation for the excellent service you provided in moving me from Sleepy Hollow Road to the Greenspring Village retirement community on April 10. To refresh your memory and make it a matter of record, I contacted you and two other movers early in April to obtain estimates and make arrangements for the move. Yours was the least expensive estimate by a considerable amount and your estimate of time was 40% and 80% less than the other two moving firms. There was sufficient difference that I asked you to come to my house and look at what I had to move and verify your estimate, which you did. On the day of the move, your crew arrived and moved and loaded everything in about two hours and I could not believe their efficiency. We drove to the apartment and they were equally efficient here. They finished at least an hour earlier than the estimate and there was not one scratch, dent or misplaced item and they carefully placed everything as I directed. They couldn’t have been better!! One interesting sidelight - - when I gave them each a moderate tip they told me it was not necessary - - that you paid them! Now one other item that I need to thank you for: your final bill was 30% less than your estimate! I know you explained to me that your estimate was based on your best guess as to how many hours it would take and since your men were so efficient, my final bill reflected this. I have had good and bad experiences with my moves and yours has to be one of the very finest.
I have taken the liberty of forwarding a copy of this letter to the Washington, D.C. Better Business Bureau and have requested that they relay your performance to those who might inquire about the reliability and ethical practices of business firms they are considering. Similarly, I have advised the moving specialists here at Greenspring Village of your service and recommended you highly. Once more, thank you for your good work.”

Several months have passed since your company helped my small business move its offices. I am happy to report that we are settled in and very comfortable in our new environment.
I want to thank you and your crew for the excellent and speedy move. You did in four hours what I thought would take all day. It was hard to believe that any move could go so smoothly. You and your assistants handled my teak furniture so well that we could not find any nicks at all, nor did you mar the walls.
I would gladly recommend Easy Movers to any company that wanted accurate estimates, friendly service and attention to detail during the move. Should I need to move my offices in the future, I would not use any other company.
